1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Young Investor Week website, located at https://younginvestorweek.com/ (the "Site"), and all services offered through it, including the Young Investor Club (collectively, the "Services"). The Site and Services are operated by Young Investor Week, a joint initiative delivered by the Diverse Leaders Network (DLN) and Ultra Education CIC ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using our Site and Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Site or Services. These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

2.1 Parental and Guardian Consent

The Young Investor Club is a programme designed for children and young people. To enrol a child in the Young Investor Club, you must be the parent or legal guardian of that child and must be at least 18 years of age. By registering, you confirm that you have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself and your child.

2.2 Account Responsibility

When you create an account with us, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this obligation.

3. The Young Investor Club

3.1 Description of the Service

The Young Investor Club is a weekly online programme delivered via Zoom, designed to equip young people with financial literacy, leadership skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset. The programme covers topics including problem-solving, communication, emotional intelligence, self-leadership, and emerging sectors such as AI, green jobs, and digital entrepreneurship.

3.2 Curriculum and Schedule

We reserve the right to modify the curriculum, session content, schedule, and format of the Young Investor Club at any time. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of any material changes. The programme is run entirely online and is accessible to students across the United Kingdom and beyond.

3.3 School Clubs

Schools wishing to run a Young Investor Club on their premises must register their interest through the Site. The terms applicable to school-based clubs will be agreed separately between Young Investor Week and the relevant school.

4. Payments

4.1 Pricing

We offer the following pricing options for the Young Investor Club:

All prices are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

4.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor. By providing your payment information, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method. We do not store your full payment card details on our systems. You are responsible for ensuring that your payment details are accurate and up to date.

4.3 Subscription Billing

Monthly subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless you cancel it in accordance with the cancellation procedure set out below. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 Cancellation of Monthly Subscription

You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time by providing at least six (6) days' written notice before your next scheduled billing date. To cancel, please contact us at [email protected]. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. Cancellations received with fewer than six days' notice before the next billing date will take effect in the following billing cycle.

5.2 Refund Policy

Except as required by applicable law, all payments are non-refundable. Pay As You Go session fees are non-refundable once a session has been attended. 5.3 Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK consumer protection legislation. If you are a consumer, you may have the right to cancel a contract within 14 days of entering into it. However, please note that if you have requested that the Services commence within this 14-day period, you may lose your right to cancel once the Services have been fully performed.

5.4 Funding

We may offer funding to cover the cost of membership for eligible individuals. Funding is subject to availability and eligibility criteria. Please contact us for further information.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site and provided through the Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, and software, is the property of Young Investor Week or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Site and Services for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from the Site or Services without our prior written consent.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Site and Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not use the Site or Services in any way that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or Services, interfere with the proper working of the Site, or transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code.

The Site and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that the information provided through the Services constitutes financial, investment, or professional advice of any kind. Young Investor Week is an educational programme, and nothing in our curriculum or materials should be construed as a recommendation to make any specific investment.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Young Investor Week, its delivery partners, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or Services. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales to resolve any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Services, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Where changes are material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site or Services after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Site and Services.
